Review: Aveeno Skin relief moisturising lotion.

Dry, sensitive skin?

Try this:

This is one of my all time favourites! I had dry and sensitive skin last year and this is one of the few lotions that my skin tolerated. My skin was very dry and itchy and I hated using E45 lotion as I felt that it was very sticky. So I decided to try this by Aveeno. They have all natural ingredients and fragrance free
When you have dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin, it’s best to avoid perfume/fragrance in your products because it’s an irritant. The effect of this lotion really does what it says!
I’ve tried products before in the evening and by the next morning my skin has become dry and ashy (EWW). But trying this lotion, my skin is still moisturised!
One of its key ingredients is oats and it’s a great because it relieves itchiness and dryness! You can use oats as a face wash, as well (I used this when I had acne, it left my face soft and help relieve my spots too). Watch this video by Bubzbeauty:
Hope this helps! :)

Review: KHIEL'S CREME DE CORPS SOY MILK & HONEY BODY POLISH

Firstly, let me just say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ONE. The moment you open it, the smell of honey and milk is just luscious! Yup, seriously.

When I was browsing through Westfields London, I wasn't expecting to buy a scrub. It was kinda an impulse buy. I was actually looking for a nice hand cream because my hands had gotten very dry. The salesman informed me that I should exfoliate my hands too to renew the skin, just like I usually do with my face.

He tried the scrub on me and my hands have never felt so smooth! Moisturise afterwards and you're good to go.

The scrub has a creamy consistency and contains milk, honey, luffa fruit and jojoba butter- no wonder why it smells soooo good!

Pros:

  • It definitely exfoliates but is gentle and does not dry out the skin.
  • Smells gorgeous!
Con:
  • The price. At £22.50 for 200ml, this is a luxury product for me so I don't use this as much. One to twice a week will suffice.
To me, the price is ok. I prefer buying quality products if they work for me rather than buying cheap products that will aggravate my skin. I think this scrub is actually gentle enough for sensitive skin! It's a must have product since it's summer time now- time to show off those legs ladies! ;)

P.S. Whenever I shop at Khiel's, I always get given samples which I try out at home. Also, if you don't like the product, you can always return it as long as you have a receipt!
